| Comments: | | This species is probably best kept at lower temperatures: 20°C rather than 25°C.
It can be distinguished from other species by the narrow indistinct vertical bars on the sides followed by a wide indistinct tapering horizontal stripe to the end of the caudal peduncle. This species does not have barbels.
